Rivermark, along with Hesperia’s Roe Highway Logistics Park development, is a case study for researchers at the RACE 2030 Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) that is hosted in Western Australia by Curtin University.

The CRC platform matches commonwealth funding to industry contributions to leverage academic problem solving of highly relevant, practical topics, brought to the CRC by the industry partners.

Hesperia has entered a 3-year funding arrangement with the CRC, which has the overarching goal of accelerating the transition to Reliable, Affordable, Clean Energy for 2030 (RACE 2030). At Rivermark, researchers will be tracking progress in the transition to 100% renewable energy lifestyles and will report back transparently on lessons learned. There is no requirement for residents at Rivermark to be involved or share information but, for those that are interested, Hesperia hopes to find opportunities for residents to contribute to the research, as well as being kept up to date on findings.
